Buddha in the Garden, Part 2: Electric Siddhartha Grooves to his new locale. Psychedelic, Spiritual, Abstract Art for Dream Trippers and New Age Yogis.

Ah, Ole Sid… one of my favorite subjects. Being a stone head, he is always perfectly still, which makes photographing or painting him, quite easy. Or at least easier than if he was running about and talking all the time. The Buddha from the Garden of Eternal Happiness has moved and found himself in a new garden, surrounded by new things and some old friends and playmates. Fu Wang, Wolf Girl and, of course, Baba Ram Yum Yum are all here and enjoying the new digs. and while they can sometimes be wistful for the old stomping grounds, Big Daddy Siddhartha is quick to remind them that want and desire lead to unhappiness and misery. He’s always reminding his little crew to lead a simple life. Not that they don’t, but they can sometimes get caught up in their desires. Like the desire to chase the cat or have a baloney treat. But hey, for the most part they lead a pretty simple life filled with unconditional love.

So here’s Electric Siddhartha. take 2… enjoy.

Just feels like there’s a heavy third eye chakra thing going on with this one. At least that’s what Baba Ram Yum Yum commented when he first saw it.

As always, your comments, thoughts, outright ravings and mad ramblings are not only appreciated and encouraged, but passed around between the crew here at the Square when we are enjoying some fine anejo tequila around the fire pit and talking of life’s truths. So share yourself.

Yours in unsubstantiated accusations…

Cosmo

P.S. All my love to the very best girl in the whole wide world, my treasured and adored Zengirl.
