More Buddhas in the Garden: Abstract Psychedelic and Spiritual Art for those in need of a high chakra fix. Siddhartha meditates on The New Love and ponders why “she wiggles like a glow worm and dances like a spinnin’ top” makes him feel so good.

Another Buddha from out in the Garden of Eternal Happiness where Chuck Berry duck walks and drops those mercurial riffs and lyrical truths on an ever appreciative Fairy Romantic and her kingdom. Siddhartha sits in quiet contemplation on the northern boundaries of the garden and serves as both a teacher/guru and someone to talk classic rock and roll with for the Fairy Romantic.

You can often hear the feint strains (remember the Fairy Romantic, while being a princess who rules an entire kingdom, is still, by human standards, very, very small) of Chuck Berry drifting through the air in the early evening time when the Fairy Romantic rides her dragonfly coach to make her rounds. Both her and old Sid are quite the fans of Chuck’s straight-up, no chaser tunes and especially his wonderful and highly descriptive way of getting to the heart of the matter lyrically. Nobody knows this but, the Fairy Romantic loves it when Siddhartha will smile and call her “Little Queenie”. Weird? Yeah, but who amongst man can truly know the soul of such a creature and what might bring her whimsy?

“Roll Over Beethoven” from which the lyric in the title of this post is taken, is, in the mind of myself, the FR, Siddhartha and of course, Baba Ram Yum Yum (who by the way loves to accompany the Fairy Romantic and her coach on her rounds of the garden), one of the greatest rock and roll songs ever written. A pure rebellious celebration of fun and a new way of thinking, “Beethoven” is full of good time, butt wigglin’ sonic fun and one of rocks great declarations; “roll over Beethoven and tell Tchaikovsky the news!”

And what exactly is this news? That the old ways are done. Dead. Over. That the New Love is here and that a new awareness and consciousness is upon us. It’s our time, brothers and sisters, to shed the conformity and rigidity and mistakes of the past and be reborn with love, happiness and compassion in our hearts and souls. It’s time to make a difference in our own life and the lives of those around us. Fear not what others may think or how you will be judged and viewed. It is far past the time for that nonsense and old way thinking. No, it’s time to share yourself and all your wonderful gifts, to make the world a better, brighter and more loving place for all the creatures, great and small who dwell on this blue green marble.

Spread happiness wherever you go. Drop smile bombs on any and all you cross paths with. Make it better with love. Your love. Share it. Wear it. Be it. You can heal the world, you really can and it doesn’t take all that much effort. Just a conscious decision, an awareness to do it. Smiles are so very contagious. They spread like a mad love virus and if there’s a virus worth spreading, that really needs to be spread, its the mad love virus. The New Love knows no judgement. The New Love knows no prejudice. The New Love knows no boundaries. It is soft and it is gentle and it swings like a 20 ton hammer on its old nemesis Fear. The New Love just smashes Fear into dust. Try it, you’ll see.

Now let’s grab a partner and show ’em how to reel and rock….

H.R. Giger-like in a strange way, heh? Give that Native Tribal Flute music a rest and drop some Chuck on the box and align those lower chakras with the healing power of a three chord metaphysical rock-n-roll experience!

“Well, if you feelin’ like it
Go get your lover, then reel and rock it.
Roll it over and move on up just
A trifle further and reel and rock with it,
Roll it over,
Roll Over Beethoven, dig these rhythm and blues.”

And it doesn’t stop there….

High chakra purples and blues all a glowing and infused with the infinite power of The New Love… Go ahead, drop the needle on that bad ass Chuck and let him put you in communion with the divine. Free your ass and your mind will indeed follow!

“You know she wiggles like a glow worm,
Dance like a spinnin’ top.
She got a crazy partner,
Ya oughta see ’em reel and rock.
Long as she got a dime the music wont never stop.”

And another take on this sublime daddy cat, old Sid, the buddha of the Gibson ES 335… go ahead and let those hips get gooey and loose…

Like a stained glass window into your third eye, Buddha grooves heavy to the sound of Chuck’s licks and smiles knowingly when he hears the wisdom and sacred truth of his lyrics… and why wouldn’t he?

“You know, my temperature’s risin’
The jukebox’s blowin’ a fuse.
My heart’s beatin’ rhythm
And my soul keeps a-singin’ the blues.
Roll Over Beethoven and tell Tschaikovsky the news.”

As always your comments, thoughts, insights and opinions actually matter and are cherished by Baba Ram Yum Yum, Siddhartha, the Fairy Romantic and yours truly. So share the love and share yourself.

Yours in subversively subverting the ordinary,
Cosmo

P.S. To my girl, the amazing and hyper talented Zengirl, I only ask… do you still have a dime?
