Hot Chakras In Love: More Psychedelic Abstract Art with Orchids. The Healing Power of Color.

Hot chakras in love? Well yes, yes they are. I like to think of opening, balancing and healing my chakras in terms of heating them up. When you heat something up, water for example, you get the molecules moving. You change the energy. With any kind of healing it becomes a matter of focus and intention. Focusing your meditation on a particular chakra begins with the intention to do so and the intention of the desired result. At least that’s what I think.

Lets consider moment to moment living. Focusing on what you’re doing, moment to moment, is essentially creating mindfulness. And mindfulness is, in many ways, intention. Creating intention in all that we do can seem like “work”, and in a way, it is. Or it can seem like play. And it’s that too. It depends on how you perceive it, what you make it mean.

But enough metaphysical yap. Baba Ram Yum Yum is telling me to turn off my mind and get to the visual funk! And Baba, well he knows.

So here’s another round of psychedelic orchid art from the Orchid Festival courtesy of my boy, Gerry’s high end camera and lens.

First up? Why “Hot Chakras In Love” of course…

Oh, and they are hot little things, aren’t they? Luminous color and the orchids are just loaded with powerful, trippy color. I highly recommend clicking on this one and blowing it up as big as you can. There is delicious detail in the forms, shapes and colors. Baba says, “Yabba Dabba Do!”

Here’s something very different both in composition and color. “Velvet Vishnu Visions”…

Loved that deep African Violet purple velvet feel. Especially offset against the lilac and aqua elements. The center of the orchids just look so third eye and throat chakra blues to me. The touches of green and some faint, but accenting yellow. Mmm… the Little Goddess knew what she was doing with this one, lol. Play time for Mammy! A big soft feel.

As to what “Vishnu” means…
One of the principal Hindu deities, worshiped as the protector and preserver of worlds. Vishnu is often conceived as a member of the triad including also Brahma and Shiva. From the Free Dictionary.

And another shift in direction…”Code”…

Heavy in the high chakra/crown chakra purple with a smattering of blues. Then there’s that hot yellow and orange with a bit of reds. Some greens and well, we’ve got the total chakra color load.

And let’s finish with this one for now… “Purple Love Mandala”

And yes it is… that beautiful purple diamond appearing in the center. Soft energies flowing around it, framing it. Yellows and greens, blues, reds and pinks. Another beautiful piece of randomness brought forth in co-creative union with the Little Goddess.

So there we have it, Hot Chakras In Love. Do enjoy and may these colorful creations assist you on your way down the road. As always we’d love to hear what you think, what you feel. Your insights and thoughts are valued and encouraged.

Yours in re-arranging the reality,
Cosmo

P.S. To my beloved and treasured Zengirl, my gratitude and thanks for that heart full of love you so freely give me.

    • Hahaha… Well, that’s why that’s the title, lol… And yeah, the color is really huge. Gerry’s camera coupled to the way too expensive for me Zeiss macro kens that is something like 1:2 or 1:4 just delivers these gorgeous 65 meg photos. The actual real world size on these latest works are 36″ x 24″ and man, I want to print some of those on nice paper.
