All I could think of when I first started the process with this photo and those colors started jumping was India. And when it snapped together to form these full blown treats of chakra colored goodness, well it became highly apparent that there was some Dharma in the garden. And indeed there is… and a week away from the Square and I’m one silly boy…
Here’s the definition of Dharma (according to a reputable online resource)
1. Hinduism & Buddhism
a. The principle or law that orders the universe.
b. Individual conduct in conformity with this principle.
c. The essential function or nature of a thing.
2. Hinduism Individual obligation with respect to caste, social custom, civil law, and sacred law.
a. The body of teachings expounded by the Buddha.
b. Knowledge of or duty to undertake conduct set forth by the Buddha as a way to enlightenment.
c. One of the basic, minute elements from which all things are made.
I believe the two “C”s hit the nail on the head… for those interested in more on dharma, here’s the link to Wikipedia…
The essential nature of a thing is what I have come to believe this random co-creation with the Big Creative Energy shows me. Especially when it comes to the natural world. Yes, it’s pretty damn psychedelic, very trippy, as in, “How many shrooms was I supposed to eat Harold?” trippy. But the more I think about it, isn’t life, the natural world is extremely trippy? Extraordinarily psychedelic in it’s very nature?
This physical “reality” of ours can be broken down into sub-atomic particles… quarks and neutrinos… a vibrating soup boiling over in the kitchen of creativity and creation. I mean quantum physics is some damn trippy shit. “The particle behaves differently when it is observed”. So do many of my friends.
But enough of that scrap paper science stuff… we’re off to see the Dharma, the wonderful Dharma of Cos! He, he, he… sometimes I can’t resist… Dig the colors, groove on the vibe, feel the love…
“Dharma in the Garden 1A”
and another slice of synesthesia pie… “Dharma in the Garden 1B”
Those colors just ooze and glow and scream “Randu! You mad, mad thing… help me align these chakras or there will be no peace under our roof!”
Yes, that’s exactly what they say… it’s on Wikipedia so it must be true…
As always feel free to laugh, point, snicker… and leave a comment or a thought… hell, if you’d like, leave a full blown critique. Your opinions matter! And the staff here at the Square is always thrilled to hear from you.
Yours in readjusting the reality,
