Conscious Life Experiment: 30 Days of Awareness. 4 Minute Meditation Day Eighteen.

Eighteen. Now there’s a word, that for many of us, especially those of us in the United States, has lots of meaning. Eighteen is when we become “legal”, as in legally responsible. It’s when we become, by law, “adults”. Of course this is such an arbitrary number. I mean really, who decided, how did “they” decide, that turning 18 years old was the point at which you became an adult? When I think back to my eighteen year old self, I have to laugh at how “adult” I was. It’s a minor miracle I actually survived.

In many ways this project is about coming to “adulthood” in the sense of gaining control and awareness over your thoughts and the meanings and power you give to words. Moving from child-like reactionary automatic being to a more conscious state of awareness. Or maybe it’s not.

Are we ready for today’s meditation? Today’s word?

Of course we are!

If you’re a returning adventurer, then please, by all means, carry on with your work… or play….

And today’s word is “habit”…

As always… share yourself, your thoughts, insights, mad ramblings… Why? Because we love you. Oh yes we do.

Yours in the possibility of a more creative life and a better world,
Cosmo

P.S. To my beloved and treasured Zengirl I have but one word… butterfly.
