Conscious Life Experiment: 30 Days of Awareness. 4 Minute Meditation Day Fifteen.

Ahh, the half point in the journey. Equidistant from the beginning and the end. A good place to perhaps take a moment and look back over the terrain we’ve covered. And we have covered some terrain. Interior terrain. The terrain of emotions and conditioned responses. If indeed, our thoughts create our quality of life, as so many great thinkers, spiritually conscious individuals from the Buddha to Christ and beyond believe, then it becomes imperative that we control those thoughts. We want to empower ourselves. And so, in my thinking, we need to see what those thoughts are. What our conditioning is.

And we are conditioned. By environment, by schooling, by the popular culture. And we attach and assign what words mean, how powerful we make them. And this leads us to the conversations we have with ourselves. You know the ones, those stories we tell ourselves about how things and people are, what she said really means, all that crap that really is debatable as far as being even true in any classical sense. And the doorway to gaining power over our thoughts is to bring them into the light of awareness and consciousness. And this little 30 day experiment is just that; an attempt at finding out more about ourselves by becoming more aware of the language we use and what meanings we’ve assigned to words.

With the meditation image, you may wish to note how the colors make you feel, or which colors you’re drawn to. Is there a response in a certain part of your body? These kind of insights can be quite helpful in chakra matters.
