Wow, we’re already a third of the way through our playful little experiment. This has been a great experience for me, both as a user and it has given me some more ideas about creating new experiments involving language. And I’d like to take a moment to thank all of you who are participating for the support. I’ve seen this shared on Facebook and emailed off to others. That’s very cool. And it’s inspired me to consider expanding this particular experience and to create new ones down the road. So thank you all for participating and sharing it with your friends.
Now, if you’re new to this, don’t worry, you can start at any point in it and immediately get insights into your thought processes. And those insights are there to be had. It just requires awareness and consciousness. Discovering how we empower certain words in our minds, the meanings we give them, is a step towards being free of the burdens and stories from the past that no longer empower us, no longer serve us. And that is an essential step in the journey to fulfillment, to happiness.
If you’re new, click on the link at the top of the page, “Conscious Life Experiment 30 days To Awareness” and check out Day One for the very simple explanation and instructions.
Basically there’s two parts; an image to meditate on and describe what you may see in the image and a word for the day. To get the most meaningful results, I would suggest having a notebook and to jot down the first things you think about upon reading the word. The first things you feel. Then, just observe how the word, and the associations and meanings you’ve attached to it, appear throughout your day. At the end of the day, jot down your experience and what new insights you came across. It’s that easy. Little things that create big changes.
Here’s today’s meditation image…
And today’s word is “Sex”…
So there’s today’s Experiment. And remember, please tell us your thoughts, experiences and insights. Share yourself and the world will share back. Well, that’s how I like to look at it.
Yours in changing the paradigms and redefining the possible…
P.S. To my beloved and treasured Zengirl, a heart full of gratitude and love for all that you do.
