“color of the dream I had, not too long ago… Misty blue and lilac too… never to grow old.” Ah… Jimi Hendrix. Really an undervalued lyricist. He really wrote some beautiful, trippy and dreamy stuff. And some stuff that wasn’t so dreamy and acid inspired. Damn, I love Hendrix. The music, the lyrics. One of the handful of people who really changed the way you heard the guitar, the way you thought of it, what you considered possible.
And because this one is so… luminous and so very gold and rose… it’s very Jimi to me. A trippy, psychedelic expanse. Expanding like great clouds of interstellar dust, a nebulae, a star factory. Something the Hubble captures as it looks back in time across the universe. Something like Jimi. It is the pure spray paint style with no digital enhancement. Just the random, accidental on purpose bumping into of petrochemicals. It feels very meditative to me when I make it full screen and fill the desktop of my computer. Glowing in the center. I can fall right in. Would make a wonderful thing on a ceiling above my bed.
But enough words… here’s the image…
Mmmmm… almost like candy. Enjoy.
